I have two braided solo loops, size 5, which fit great.

Would a regular solo loop size 5 fit the same, or do they come up a bit more snug/loose?

Also, my braided haven’t stretched. Do the regular solo loops tend to stretch?

Lastly, Friday is my last return day. I want to keep my new watch, but can I exchange just the strap that came with it? It’s the sports band, which I find rather uncomfortable now that I’ve experienced the solo bands. I like the colour (starlight) so I’d like to exchange my sports band for a solo loop in the same colour.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

:)

Hmm, thought my red braided solo felt a bit looser than my blue one.

Measured them against each other, and sure enough, the red one is a bit longer.

Irony being that the red one hasn’t even been worn, just tried on. The blue one has been worn since I got the watch, almost two weeks ago.

Just put my starlight sport band on, to see how I like it, before Friday comes around. At least the sport band can be adjusted.

The silicone solo loop will feel tighter usually because of the material. It is less stretchy and more rigid, relatively speaking. It has less give to it, so you’re going to notice a snug solo loop more than a snug braided solo loop.

I also think it’s more crucial to have a snug fit for the braided solo loop because it won’t stay in place on your wrist as well as the silicone solo loop. The silicone somewhat holds it in place.

I had solo loop for just shy of a year. Didn’t notice any stretching but it did crack and eventually split. This has been experienced by others on this forum as well. I wouldn’t pay 5 bux for another one.

Also I don’t recommend it for working out. When it gets wet, it moves a lot

The braided one that I had doesn’t have a snap-back feel. The regular solo loop does get loose over time. But if you had it new, it fits better than the braided counterpart.

Silicone feels worse than fabric. I;d suggest a size larger than what you use in the braided. It is the superior band unless you need silicone for swimming etc

I have several of each, braided and silicone, all in the same size. For me, they fit exactly the same. I wear Solos every day now, my poor Sport Band collection is neglected. I love that the bottom is smooth and there's no pin to tap against my desk when I'm working/typing.

Ive had the same issue with braided being slightly different lengths from new but not enough for me to change size
