Do the 3.1 and 2.7 27" iMac differ much?

I can buy a 27" imac but the guy only has the 2.7 base model (2011).Should i buy it?Is it that much slower than the normal iMac?I intend to game a bit,but no games that take much power,probably games like League Of Legends,Diablo 3,and some of the steam games like half life 2,GTA episodes from liberty city etc
Can the iMac do it?Bootcamp IS an option.

If it's the model that comes with a 6770m with 512kb of VRAM, then to play most games you will need to go a resolution lower than native, which may result in a blurry appearance. There's far too many pixels on that 27" model and the 6770m can't handle them well.
