Do the apple docks put strain on the lightning port?

I mean the docks the have the phones sitting on in the stores... I really like them, but the angle makes me wonder if they put any strain on the lightning port? Especially supporting the plus size phones...?

Look at it like this, if they can stand being manhandled by thousands of customers, and some not being to gentle with them,
it can stand the force easily when you use it at home

They’re rip off. You’ll find much better looking & secure docks on amazon.
