I want to know if the overlap edge is rubber so the phone won't slide on a surface, or hard plastic which is likely as slippery as the phone is. I see the band covering the metal frame of the phone is rubber, but what about the edges the phone rests on?

*EDIT: From what I've seen/read, the phone rests on a kind of rubber/silicone surface.
