Do the iBooks come with the Mac Development tools, or would I need to get a power book to get the Development Tools?

I'm torn between getting a 14" iBook with superdrive, and a 12" powerbook with the super drive... I'd like to try my hand at learning Cocoa, and Objective C, so the Development tools could be what push me over to a powerbook.

Thanks,

Myron

Developer Tools come with all new Macs

My iBook G4 (12", 800MHz) came with the developer tools on the software restore CDs. According to this page, all macs that ship with Panther include the dev tools.

Also keep in mind that the developer tools that you get with your iBook may not be the latest version, so if you plan to learn to write software you should get a free ADC Online account (http://connect.apple.com/) where you will also find the latest developer tools (Xcode 1.2).

(which is free) (so even if it didn't come with the ibook, which it will, it's still free ;) )
