Title says it all. We've found in another post that the iPhone and iTouch will only charge if there is a voltage on the D+ and D- lines of the USB charger. Proper voltage and current on the power supply lines is not enough. The post is here:

I was hoping there are others out there with engineering experience that can test this theory and post their results here. Be sure to read the post I linked to above first to get the information we've collected so far.
The problem with this is there are chargers out there that have the ability to deliver the specific voltage and current the iphone and ipod touch require, but don't have any voltage on the data lines, and therefore don't work.
