Do the latest iMacs have "intel quick sync video"

Does anyone know if any of the new iMacs have intel quick sync video.

This is hardware based video transcoding, which debuted with the sandy bridge line of chips.

It looks like a real quantum leap foward....

Does anyone know if the iMacs have this capability?

I believe the i7 2600 should.

A quick google search will show this is more of a software issue than hardware issue. Only a limited number of programs use it.

If you assume that the i7 2600 is the same as the i7 2600 in any other desktop, then the answer is yet. But I don't know that it is...

I'm not worried so much about the software, as that will improve with time. I want to make sure the hardware isn't limiting.
