Just curious about this as i do tend to play slot of games on the arcade as a way of relaxing after a tough day, or just during my break hours if I’m working from home or in a hotel.

I’m upgrading from an older MBP and so it did get hot and loud at times, which is why I’m curious.

Bonus question: M1 Pro, can it handle most of the games on the arcade without any issue? Again, I did run into some issues when playing some games, some freezes and fps problems.

Thanks guys :)

If you are not in Low Power Mode, yes, the fan will be quite audible on M1 Pro.

If you are in Low Power Mode, then... honestly, it's a miracle if you can even hear the fan at all.

And even in Low Power Mode, you can game at 4K native resolution with M1 Pro, so, I think that should give you an idea of how the machine performs.
