I am getting a rMBP (1st one defective), and I used to have a 2010 MBP, it would always make a click noise when I move it or just aciddentlay push it. I heard it was motion sensor so it wont crash, do the ssd's do the same?

SSDs are completely silent. The Sudden Motion Sensor is only for spinning drives with movable heads. There is nothing moving inside a SSD except electrons.

Note: Computers with Solid State Drives (SSD) or Flash Storage do not use SMS as the drives have no moving parts.
