Do the new Apple USB-C -> Lightning cables support USB-3 speeds if device support were introduced?

I noticed these cables are much less flimsy than the previous-gen Lightning to USB-A cables. More premium.

I'm assuming this is related to shielding and/or more wires. Has anyone done a teardown yet?
