Does anyone know based on S10 if the display that is able to refresh once per second also refreshes Apple Maps directions every second when wrist is down? For example I have my biking directions on my Ultra 1 and to see distance to next turn, I have to turn my wrist to activate the display to see the updated distance, otherwise it just shows a dash. Or is the 1 sec refresh rate only reserved for the second indicator in the few select watch faces?

Do the S11/U3 displays refresh maps every second?

Best I can tell with my S10, and super annoyingly, it doesn't work for maps, at least currently. I think it's probably for battery reasons, but it's still really dumb.
