Do the sources on Cydia update each time Cydia is loaded?

What I mean is will the sources I have manually added and the ones that came with Cydia automatically update each time I open cydia? for example, if one source adds some themes, will they automatically be added to that source on my Cydia when the developer puts them on? So each time I load up Cydia if the source has something new it will automatically put it on mine?
