Just wondering if the new SR macbooks suffer from the "choppy Dock" effect in leopard.... thanks in advance

I get it even on a pre-SR MBP, along with choppy expose', spaces, and opening the Dashboard. It's really the only problem I have with Leopard, not that it's in any way a deal breaker, but I really miss the silky smoothness from Tiger...

I'm hoping this seperate graphics driver update that was seeded to devs with the 10.5.2 update solves this.

From what I've seen, the 3d dock runs silky smooth on all macbooks, but looks a little choppy on macbook pros. My powerbook sufferes pretty badly from it.

My situation was interesting with the dock. It ran like crap and choppy until I tested the restore function with Time Machine and now it runs very smooth. I have no idea why.
