Do the Stores Ever Cary the 7200RPD HD Upgrade on 17 inchers?

I know at one point they used to.
However, this one store told me they don't and you have to do CTO. Trying to figure out if I should bother to keep calling. Want speed so 5400 doesn't sound very good.
