I just purchased my first ever iPhone that is capable of wireless charging. I’d be rocking the iPhone 7 since it came out and it’s so nice to finally upgrade. I got the second Gen SE and am wanting to take advantage of wireless charging.

However I have become accustomed to getting in my car and placing my iPhone on a magnetic mount thanks to the (pictured) metal sticker plates.

I’m wondering if having these permanently on the back of my iPhone would affect the phones wireless charging capability?

Yes. If you get them place them low on the device. Don’t put them directly in the center where the coils are. I’ve used them before and just made sure they were low.

They do. An usually what you'll see if they interfere is some error light on the charger. A good charger won't attempt to charge like that and your phone will be ok. A crappy charger? who knows.

Most companies that sell wireless magnetic chargers (pre mag-safe) have a paper template to aid you when installing the plates, so the plates won't interfere.
