iPhone Do these tweaks exist? Possible?

So a coworker bought the new turbo, I have not had much hands on with it, but there were a couple of cool things on the lock screen I liked.

If you wave your hand over the phone, the lock lights up. Whats also cool is that only those pixels light up, so not the entire screen every time you just want to glance and see the time.

I was wondering if these types of tweaks are available to the iphone. Basically a gesture working with proximity sensor and the pixel by pixel feature
