Got my phone from the At&t store it was the last one. Driving home i noticed the rattle... sigh so i head to the apple store asked them about it. Told to make a genius appointment.... next one is sunday. So i went across the street to another At&t and he agreed to exchange it no problem. Checked to see if it rattled... I couldn't tell in the store. So got home... checked again and it rattles.... So i guess they all rattle, i don't know.

Are you talking about a 3G or a 3GS? The new "S" models tend to have more rattles. Everybody thought initially that it was from the auto-focus mechanism. I shook mine today and heard nothing until I flipped the silent switch.

Well its not the end of the world, but i'm thinking its in more iphones...alot more.

Mine rattles. It's kind of annoying. I feel like I'm breaking it every time I set it on a hard surface. But all the ones at the Apple Store I went to yesterday rattled as well. I guess it's normal.

Not all rattle, but seems that majority do.

My 3G didnt rattle at all, but the vibrate switch on my 3GS rattles when the phone is on silent. I have checked about 8 iphones (including 3G) and only 2 didnt vibrate.

I am super OCD about certain things, but because everything else about my phone is just fine, I'm gonna learn to live with it.

Did you realize that you just said "I am super obsessive compulsive disorder about certain things..."? That doesn't make any sense.

Its The Buttons

Well, I held all the buttons and shook it..... no rattle.
Its just The buttons, nothing internal.
