I looked around the forum and this board seemed like the best place to ask this question although it is not an iPhone question per se.
I know the original meaning of the word 'tether', but I only hear the word when people talk about internet connection for laptops via smartphones.
I am just curious if the term 'tethering' is also being used with other devices other than laptops, desktops, and smartphone or cell phones IN tech areas... maybe in broadcasting or something. Does anyone know?
