Do updates for the 4850 chipset work well in Bootcamp?

As in, can I just use the AMD/ATI drivers to update or do I need to go through some magical Apple process?

Apple uses generic AMD video cards, the only special thing about them is there firmware, but every vendor tweeks the firmware to get more out of the card. Just goto AMD's web site and get the latest drivers, or better yet use Steam to keep your drivers up to date.
