Do vendors like iFixit and Powerbookmedic carry generic parts?

I spotted a brand new aluminum bottom casing that I wanted to order. My question is, where do their new parts come from? If it is indeed generic, will the aluminum match with my late 08 unibody? Anybody ever ordered from them?

Everything there is not generic. The cases, logic boards, and such are all from parted out macs usually.
