a leopard announcement this week?

What do you all think?
 
Will it be publicly known when it hits golden master? I have no doubt that it won't be available until the 30th. Which would put the announcement around the 9th maybe. I'm looking forward to some software related news!

If Apple doesn't announce it, I'm sure word will get around. It tends to do that. I'm still betting that it'll be the second-to-last week of October.

I'm pretty sure he is referring to the family pack which I believe is $199
 
My guess is October 31st with a 30 day countdown posted Monday. I'm curious if this will be a somewhat quiet release since they've got the spotlights on iPods and iPhones right now. Not just a computer company anymore! Plus, Vista really sucks...and nobody talks about it.

One thing I know for sure is Apple will have a ridiculously great holiday season. Let's see what kind of record they break.

Did they have a count down for Tiger?
 
Yes, on Tuesday there will be new slim MacBooks and MacBook Pros, along with the instant release of Leopard with a reduced price of $10, new Mac Pros with sixteen core processors as minimum, quad core Mac minis, the announcement of Mac OS XI, the announcement of Apple printers, televisions and camcorders, a new consumer tower, LED iMacs and Cinema Displays, an iPhone nano, iPhone shuffle and iPhone classic, and an Apple games console called the iPlay.
