So with Photos app now integrated into OSX do we now have to wait months between OSX updates to get a fix or bug update, or feature update in Photos app?

Before IPhoto updates came separate, but now it's integrated. Not be happy if so, another reason preferred other apps. Especially when Apple "forgot" to include some basic things in Photos, e.g. Geotag etc...

iPhoto was already "integrated" if what you mean is that it came with OS X.
And so are iTunes, Mail, Safari, etc...
They all get updated as and when needed therefore I expect the same will happen with Photos.

Yeh I see I suppose with safari, I just thought as iPhoto was a separate app, the Photos coming integrated with OSX 10.10.3 I thought it might be "hard coded" into it.

Hope not as needs a lot of work, features missing etc.

Thanks
