Do we have to wait until FALL for iPad Jailbreak?

Been away from iphone for awhile, switched to Nexus. Does a jailbreak on iphone enable uploading and downloading files through the browser? Wonder if they could do a flash app as well? Anything like that for iphone?
Come on DEV team, give us hope on the jailbreak for the iPad soon and not after fall.
Um, the iPad is already jailbroken. They haven't released the jailbreak yet, but it's only been like, 4 days...
Yeah, downloading was made a looooooong time ago. Uploading can be done through a multitude of apps.
Flash video was done in imobilecinema, too. You don't need much more than that.
They'll do it when the iPad 3G ships to prevent Apple fixing the exploit. They've been discussing this on Twitter, and that's the overall conclusion.

Yep. The video shows up in its box, you click it, and it plays right in Safari.
