Hi.

I updated my 14" M3 Max MacBook Pro to macOS 15.3 on Wednesday, and all seemed to go smoothly.

But today I've noticed a couple of small things that have changed since the update.

On the down-side, I can no longer search for products on the UK Sainsbury's grocery website using Safari. Whenever I enter a search term in the search bar I am taken to an error page that just says 'Something went wrong'. Searches done on the same website, but using either Chrome or Firefox, work perfectly.

On the plus-side, I'd been having functionality issues with a banking app called iBank since I updated to macOS 15.0 back in September last year, but since the update to 15.3 on Wednesday that app is now working fine.

Both of these differences are also present on my Intel 27" iMac as well, so it seems that it is definitely something to do with the 15.3 update.

Is there anywhere to find out what the update contained?

For what it's worth, Sainsbury's search is functional for me in Safari under 15.3.
And me.

The 'Something went wrong' may have been generated by the web site. Maybe Sainsbury changed their web site.

Compatibility issues between browsers and particular web sites are pretty common. Usually best to contact the web site, if that is possible.

Thanks everyone.

Galad, you gave me exactly what I asked for, but to be honest I can't fathom it...

I'm sure that the 'Something went wrong' page was indeed generated by the website, but something is causing it to generate it that wasn't a problem before I updated to 15.3 on Wednesday.
I have sent a message to Sainsbury's with a screenshot of the error page, but they haven't replied yet.

I am slightly surprised to see others being able to use the Sainsbury's site on Safari under 15.3, which of course suggests that it isn't 15.3 that is causing my problem. Just to confirm Safari 18.3 as well?

Hi, yes, I have removed the website data from all sites that show up in a search for 'sain', which I think will cover all the Sainsbury's sites. I have also completely cleared Safari of all history, in case there was something lurking in there.

But the result is the same; doing a product search on the website results in me arriving at the 'Something went wrong' page.

It isn't urgent, though, by any means because I'm not wanting to buy anything from the store. I will wait and see what they come up with when they get round to answering me I think.

Thanks everyone.

Sainsbury's search works for me on 15.3 with Safari 18.3 too.
