Do y'all think 12" will ever make it back into the lineup?

My favorite laptop was the 12" PowerBook, but I wasn't totally satisfied with the 12" MacBook that's now discontinued. It only had a single port whereas the PowerBook was fully fleshed. Even the RAM was user upgradeable. It was fully user serviceable, as well.

My 13" 2016 MacBook Pro is still running very well as long as I don't upgrade the operating system.

I really would like to see it return but if any return; I think they will shrink the MacBook Air bezels down and keep it slimmer and the two ports - that would be nice and the closest we will get to that form.

Tho with the M1 chip, I am surprised they didn't just add the M1 7-core to a 12" MacBook form and rerelease it. It was an ideal portable size
