With the release of the iPad 4, do you think this is Apple's move to consolidate all iOS software and hardware releases to the same time frame? Do you also think Apple is keeping the top capacities amongst all iOS devices consistent as well?

iPad release in the spring always annoyed me in that the software was still on the old cycle and only 6 months in does your iPad get its true features. It was like the first six months were just a beta release. Now, from day 1, the iPad will be using software that was just updated.

I disagree. I believe they will go back to a release in spring/fall. It keeps people's wallets spending year round. If not, most people will have to choose between getting the newest iPhone or the newest iPad every year. Apple wouldn't want that.

Doubtful.

Of course Apple will have something new in the spring, but chances are it won't be an iPad. My money is on iPhone nano. I wrote an article about this idea here: http://doodadr.com/
