when the matte finish wears off because skin oil, do you mind it?

I don't want to use a keyboard protector so i have to deal with it, how about you guys?

I don't worry about it because it's bound to happen at some point or other during the regular course of using the computer. Eventually all of the keys on the keyboard will look the exact same and it won't be bothersome.

Some people prefer to use keyboard protectors but I've found them to detract from the overall aesthetics of the computer and the user experience itself because of how different the keyboard can feel.

I plan on selling my pro if a redesign comes out. I keep a keyboard cover on it so that it will hopefully look brand new when i try to resell it.

If I get a new macbook pro with all the features I want I likely wont bother.

I couldn't care, not even if I tried my hardest. I do however use an external keyboard most of the time so even if I did, I woudn't have to worry.

If you did have some oil stains, I found that using the extra powerful Mr Clean Magic Eraser helps and cleans it up, I would use this on PLASTIC ONLY, because it is slightly abrasive and will ruin your display or scratch your aluminum, it is fine on the Unibody MacBook bottoms and keyboard or the top case of non-Unibody MacBooks (keyboard, palm rest, and trackpad) but I think that it will leave scratches on the shiny hard plastic.

Hope this helps,
Macfan

at one point it will look real shinny if apple wont replace it then a $50 new one from ebay will make it look new again
