Making one conjoined word? I do this all the time.

No, I don't think I do that very often. But I do often hit the wrong letter and the auto-correct picks a different word than I meant and I send the message before I realize what I've done.

Actually I am just the opposite. I usually hit the space bar instead of a letter resulting in a period instead of a space or a broken, weird word.

With iOS 7, I hit the period key 90% of the time when trying to hit the space bar in safari.

Well after reading all above posts i have to admit.....i do all of these typing mistakes pretty regularly :/ ALL of them...

a larger screen, or the ability to customize your keyboard, would solve this issue. So far, this is a feature that ios doesn't have.

I do it. Then I hit send before noticing.

Me: "I'll stop and pick up some sushi on my way home b"
Wife: "Did you call be a B?!?!"

I've done this all too often. I've also constantly hit the Dictation button instead of the space bar or letter I meant to type. Usually, I have made some other typing error that I generally let go in the hopes that the auto-correct will fix it, but hitting the Dictation button cancels that and I end up having to go back and correct it myself.

Ugh. This, on occasion, along with the other ones listed. Grrrr. :(
