Do you ever use the magnetic latch on your MacBook to hold anything? I sometimes place my nail clippers above the screen because I have a tendency to lose them. I stick them up there and I know exactly where they are. Is there anything that you ever stick there?

This will be a definitive NO. Mac guys love their Macs and will not have parasites on their Macs.

You clip nails in front of your computer?

Never. My Macbook is closed when not in use, and I wouldn't want to stare and something there when in use. I'd also be concerned about damaging the camera lens.

Since upgrading to snow leopard with the increased fan usage and CPU temps I can now drape my freshly washed socks over the back of the screen. They dry in about 20 minutes.

No, but the other day, I was putting my macbook in a sleeve before class and there was a hair clip stuck to the outside. I didn't know the magnet was that strong.
