Do you expect the s9 to gain the brighter display of the ultra?

I think this would be a logical update for the series 9, to get the same, super bright display of the ultra. What do you think?

Not unless they double the battery size, and therefore the case design as well.

No. I don’t think they can pull it off with battery size differences, and I don’t think they want to blend features too much between the two.

I think a new battery technology is likely needed before the Series models can get that level of brightness. It seems like they’re finally starting to focus a bit more on battery life improvements, and going that route with the Series watches would be counterproductive.

I doubt it. Like the others said, the Ultra’s battery size allows it to have such a bright display. Even in direct sunlight the display easily stays readable. Love it!
