I'm thinking about buying a flip case...maybe Sena MagnetFlipper.

Anyone have one of these or a similar case and find it annoying to have to lift up a flap, or having a flap hanging around while using the phone? I really like the design, just not sure if it ends up being more hassle than it's worth.

Piel Frama makes a similar-looking one.

Funny cause I wondered the same thing. I tried one today and i don't think it would be too bad. I lint the one that you posted a pic of. Looks quite nice!!

I had this one from Sena, but returned it. I thought they'd be a great way to protect the front of the phone (which it is), while also being easy to use. However, after a week or so of use -- it was a hassle (for me, at least) to have to flip open the cover just to access the touch screen.

For some folks, they work great. I wouldn't say it was 'annoying', but it just didn't suit my style of use.

BUT -- if you do go this route -- I recommend the magnetic flip, and not a snap cover. The one you posted from Sena has a flap which wraps around the back, making quick access to it more of a task.

Sena does make some of the better quality leather flip cases though.

Just my $0.02 :)

I would suggest going with SGP's leather flip cases which are purely fantastic. You get used to flipping very quickly. I don't mind it really.

I'm using a Sena flip case on my 3GS and it has been more than a year, I don't really mind if I need to flip it up or hanging. The Sena case works well for me. Oh BTW, mine is almost similar to the one iBark posted above (mine is for 3GS and the one above is for 4).
