Hey everyone! I’ve been stuck wondering when you build websites do you care more about how cool it looks or how fast it loads?

Sometimes i see sites with crazy animations that look amazing but take forever to load. Other times, I see super simple sites that are lightning fast but kind of plain.

What do you usually pick? Do you try to balance both? Or just focus on one? Would love to hear what you think or how you deal with this!

What’s the purpose of the site? Do you want organic growth, or do you have a curated funnel of niche customers? How do you plan to monetize?

The answers to those questions (and a lot of other ones not listed) are what influences your implementation, but metrics like PLT, INP, etc. are critical for both conversion and page rank. Google, Microsoft, and others have all down slow-down studies that show even slight delays can significantly and negatively impact user metrics.
