In the days of the Xs Max and 11 Pro Max I did use the defiant wallpapers that were geared towards hiding the Notch.
On my 13 Pro Max I stopped caring and embraced its smaller notch.

On my 15 Pro Max I use lighter wallpapers and fully embrace the Dynamic Island. :)
Currently using this…

Apple designed it not to be covered up, but you can blend a wallpaper to make it look as if it is covered. I like mine the way it is and not go out on a limb to be extraordinary.

Yes, I use a photo that hides the DI, but it wasn’t intentional. The photo I took and use as wallpaper just happens to work well for blending in the DI.

I unintentionally hid it with my all-black Nike wallpaper that was transferred from my iPhone XR. It wasn’t until I started playing around with other wallpapers a few weeks later that I actually noticed it. I preferred the seamless look for the Lock Screen and Home Screen, so I kept the Nike wallpaper. I don’t mind the DI at all when it comes to being within apps and stuff, in fact, I like it.

What's this wallpaper look like when using live activities or when the DI is larger? Seems like it might mess with content displayed
I haven’t actually noticed to be honest, I’ll report back!

Edit- here’s a screenshot with the torch using the DI:

Nice! Did you create that wallpaper? I'd love to see it with just the ooozing coming from the bottom of the DI without the border surrounding it.

No, I went on a DI googling spree and same across it, I’m talentless when it comes to art!

I love that wallpaper, can you share it, please?

Sure. You have to zoom out and let it extend wallpaper to get the logo centred nicely. I just zoom out as much as possible and drag up and then let go and it should snap into a good place.
