Do You Have A Passcode Lock On Your Phone? Because I don't, and everyone tells me I need to, but I don't care, I'm not going to do it. But I'm just wondering Do You Have A Passcode Lock on your phone?

Yes, I use a 16-32 char password, even before TouchID came out. Phone is set to never sleep and only lock after 5min of having display off (now it is instant with TouchID). Was quite happy when TouchID was released though.

How do you have the time to type all of that?

Better typing in a passcode than having someone pick up your phone and being able to see all your photos, messages, personal info etc. Also, it makes it harder for someone to steal your phone and then reset it to resell it.

Yes, I use a passcode

I use the classic 4-digit passcode. Takes a few seconds to unlock, and keeps the unwanted people out. Works perfectly for me. But nobody should say you "need a passcode" but I surely would use one.

I leave my iPhone a lot unattended at work so I have one on mine. I have the 5 right now so the Touch ID will be a plus for me on the iPhone 6.

+1 i been using a passcode on my iphone since the 3GS :)

My passcode is 12 digits long, and yes it's a PITA to enter it in every single time I access my phone, but unfortunately there's someone in my household that insists on spying and searching my phone at any available chance, so a long passcode is necessary.

I can't wait to get my iPhone 6 Plus so I can finally utilize Touch ID!

Never did as I couldn't be bothered typing it all the time. Now have a four digit pin that's asked for every hour.

I don't type it anymore, TouchID. However when I did have to type it, like I said before, the phone did not lock for 5min after the screen was off and the screen was set to never automatically turn off. Most of the time, the phone display was on. I did not have to type it often.

Just never sleep, because they might use your finger when you're asleep to unlock your phone /paranoid

I always use a sentence for my passphrase. It helps a lot for remembering it. I'll use Touch ID to shorten all that down, happily.

Always. 6-8 character passcode.

One of the reasons I was sooooo happy when TouchID came out. Also makes my phone worthless to any thieves.
