Does anybody have the Belkin 2 in 1 MagSafe charger?
A few questions if I may.
1. Do you have AirPods Pro 2 and does the pad on the base charge them? Any caveats? (eg it's very finicky, unreliable etc). The last news about it from Belkin was posted four months ago in a response to a question in which they just said 'it hasn't been tested'.
2. Have you got a 14 Pro? With the small gap up to the cameras a lot of MagSafe chargers don't work with this model. Does it work? With a case (and a protective camera ridge)? The main reason I am considering this charger is that it looks like one of the few that will fit.
3. Any issues around the magnet connection strength? I have noticed some of the Amazon reviews say it doesn't work with a case, but I'm presuming they're not MagSafe cases (I have a Spigen Mag Armour).
4. Can you lift the phone off the charger without the base picking up? Do you have to twist it off to avoid this?
Additional thought for the day (no reply related to this necessary unless you want to). Why on earth did Belkin make the design choice to colour the MagSafe connection white with a black base? It looks rubbish. But then a lot of chargers seem to do that, it's almost like Apple has some guidance on the colour.
Thanks for dropping by.
