It looks pretty sure that apple changed the sata spec on the new 13'/15' uMBP from 3.0Gb->1.5Gb. Instead of arguing "do we need 3.0Gb or not?",
So let's see some facts by how many people are/will be affected by the change.

If you select 1 or 2 , you are(will be) affected by the SATA spec change.
If you select 3 or 4 , you can just ignore those threads.

How do I check the SATA Spec?
Click "About This Mac"-> "More Info" -> "Serial ATA"
Beside Speed you will see 1.5 Gigabit or 3.0 Gigabit
If you are using SSD drive , the performance will be capped up to 150MB/s in the new 13'/15' uMBP

Well just for the record, is your MBP showing 3.0Gb/s? I was looking through the other thread and couldn't see if people with SSDs are getting 3.0 or if it was still stuck at 1.5.

No, it won't change from 1.5Gb to 3.0Gb if you install a SSD in it.
So far there is no report that the 13'/15' uMBP switch to 3.0Gb because of a SSD installed.
