do you keep apple keyboard/trackpad wired?

if so, do you keep it on your computer or have a separate charger?

magic mouse 2 cannot be used that way obviously. seems pointless to have a stationary keyboard disconnected.

I keep my magic trackpad 2 wired (to my mac), but my space gray magic keyboard not wired unless it needs to be charged. The keyboard has been rock solid, but the trackpad has disconnected from wireless every once in a while for no apparent reason. No problem since I've kept it wired.
