Do you keep the lid of your macbook pro opened at all times or do you close the lid every night when done with using the computer? I'm wondering if i should close it every night or leave it open, if i leave it open i suspect dust might start to build up in the keyboard, Would appreciate feedback

I usually close it, but that's only because I now have the RadTech cover that goes over the keys and prevents any key marks on the screen. However, before that, I was leaving it open. I don't think it really matters one way or the other, honestly.

Closed, because my MBA is propped up in a twelve south arc stand to free up space on the desk when not in used.

i think im getting marks on my screen as well due to me closing the lid every single night which is what inspired me to create this thread to see if it was only me, i see tiny droplet like marks and smears as well on the screen and i literally cleaned the screen last week so i thought it was maybe being caused by closing the lid every single night and maybe i should just keep the lid open

2 kids at home, no way i can leave it open and just accessible to kids...every time i stop working, i need to close, and put it in the shelf...

Definitely key marks! Get a keyboard cover from RadTech and you won't have anymore!

Closed, I have a lot of dust that makes it way into my room for some reason. Plus, it needs a rest, it works HARD during the day :)
