Hi! So i recently got a machine with MacOS X 10.5.8 and I want to make it a usable (somewhat) computer, I also want to get iTunes version 10.6.3 working (like earlier, somewhat) if possible can any of you people drop links you know or help me get it working?

OK…you're asking this question in the Early Intel Mac forum. Most people who use Early Intel Macs, simply upgrade to Snow Leopard or Lion if they don't like the performance of Leopard.

If you DON"T have an Early Intel Mac, and are trying to use Leopard on a PowerPC Mac, then you've posted in the wrong place. However, Sorbet Leopard for PowerPC might be something to look at and there is a Leopard optimization thread you can look for (that Sorbet Leopard borrowed from). Both are in the PowerPC forum.

Let's assume though that you do have an Early Intel Mac and are wanting to stay on Leopard. Other than some basic optimization tweaks (in the thread in the PowerPC forum), you're stuck. No one took the time to make Leopard 'usable' on Intel Macs because…Snow Leopard.

Honestly, I would just upgrade to Snow Leopard. There arent any Macs that were left on Leopard, so that means most of the Intel software ended up dropping Leopard support in favor of Snow Leopard. I remember really liking SL and didnt miss Leopard at all

Ha, ha. Proving my point. ;)

Snow Leopard is essentially Leopard perfected. But PowerPC users weren't able to move on like Intel users were/are. So, OP either has a PowerPC Mac or just can't or won't run Snow Leopard for some unknown reason they haven't stated.

I was using Leopard for iTunes 10.6.3, as I saw a thread for fixing it, can I possibly keep it on Snow Leopard?

I'm going to upgrade to Snow Leopard, as I saw that something that I wanted to use but it requires MacOS X 10.6.8 or above, and I just found out that I can keep iTunes 10.6.3 on Snow Leopard too!
