good advertising is when you feel like buying something, even just for a second, that was made six years ago. i was using archive.org to look at old apple.com pages, and they made things look so sleek and inviting to use. just as they do today, of course.

Really, I'm not being sarcastic.

I've just bought an old Powerbook 1400 and a G3 Lombard. Both (design wise) are still stunning. The 1400 feels like it was made yesterday.

Clearly they are slow by todays standards...but then so are classic cars. Still fun to drive on a Sunday afternoon though...
