Do you leave Sim Card inside phone or outside during Pwnage Tool unlock iPhone 2G?

I have read at least 10 Pwnage tool instructions. none of them mentioned about placement of sim card. Maybe it is not important, but it is still nice to know for sure.

Do I leave none apple authorized Sim Card (ex. tmobile in U.S.) inside iphone 2g or outside during Pwnage tool unlock?

It's your choice really. I've JB'd both with and without the sim card and they both work.

I don't see why leaving the SIM in would affect anything?

Unless you were changing carriers. However, when changing carriers, isn't it a software change not a hardware change?

Once it is unlocked you just put whatever SIM card you want in it and it will work with it.

To the OP: Either way it doesn't matter. Leave it in or take it out.
