Fancy sharing it? If you've ever made a song, don't be shy, post it all for us to hear! Music should be a free for all, not locked behind closed doors.

If you have dropbox, place your song in the public folder and you can paste the public URL in here, it then opens in Quicktime (inside Safari) for us all to bask in your creative flood waters.

Here's the 2 projects I'm most proud of, they can be played immediately after each other and looped forever. They are an entire album in one song.

Understand the Universe

Explore the Universe

This is my last.fm page for my full bounty of work.

Mod note: I was going to post this in the "Digital Audio" section, but that seems to be more for the technical aspect, and far less about the music you do actually create.

haha, I actually felt like starting to write a motet today. No apparent reason why, I just wanted to.

I haven't actually written very much music, though I guess that I "make" it when harmonizing melodic lines on the spot.

This song was just me being board one day with Garageband and Midi. Sorry about the long intro. I just looped it a few too many times without listening to it.

This one was made completely using only an old computer speaker plugged into the input on my audio interface. I hit it and screamed into it to make the sounds. Then, Eq'ed each part to death to get the various drum sounds.:p

I love the 2nd song, awesome creative use of just a speaker! I've always wanted to use a speaker as an input for a project, how big was it?

Oh nice, I was contemplating using my 30watt marshall speaker, got a fair amount of 3.5mm cable lying around, should be easy to wire up, might make an interesting project. Cheers!

Schtumple - I've actually downloaded a couple of your albums and listen to them. Very listenable :)

Great idea. One of my friends ran a studio a number of years back, which meant a lot of free recording time. I'll sift through my folders after work and find something worth uploading.

I'm considering buying an Mbox to run my guitars/bass/microphone through at home. If anyone's had some experience with them, I'd love to hear some testimonials.

You've got a very rich sound, pretty awesome sounding for stuff recorded in a garage!

ps. your link is slightly broken, the [ /url] tag cuts off your bandID number.

Thanks, That means alot.

I fixed the link :p

Edit: Thanks for becoming a fan :)

i made two mash-up songs of two different hxc/screamo bands i thoroughly enjoy but i don't think i'll post those:p, they were made in GB in about 15 minutes. one of them is actually decent and i like listening to it.

I haven't posted any of my original music online yet cause I'm awaiting copyright. But once that goes through I will be posting them cause I'd love to put it out there!

I do have some covers that I have done though. Does that count?

I used GarageBand and my desk for this one recording the backing vocals and beats. Then another layer of backing vocals to create the sound of more than one person. Then I recorded the main vocals over the top of that. It's a Nina Simone cover of Be My Husband. I love the Blues/Gospel/Jazz/Soul and classic rock. :)

I have a few more covers there too at http://youtube.com/thomaslindseymusic
