Curious if I need to have my 3gs activated prior to unlocking it with ultrasn0w... I've read that purplesn0w unlock needs to be activated via at&t but not sure about the redsnow/ultrasn0w combo.

Nope, I had asked the same question over a month ago..and no one would answer me.. it will do it all.
