Currently the only game I have is Crimsonland, but I'm wondering if it's recommend for some kind of a fan control app to be run during gaming to keep the MacBook Pro cool? Mine doesn't heat up that much, and I haven't heard any fan activity, but I'm curious as to whether this would be something I should invest in.

My fans whir up on their own, but I own Macs Fan Control, and have benchmarked and get better performance with the fans on max, but they are LOUD. You should be fine, but if you want set the fans a bit higher for your peace of mind, Macs Fan Control is a good app :)
