Hi all,

I currently switch both my wireless keyboard and trackpad off each evening (press the power button on right side for a few seconds). However, I'm wondering whether it's really worth it as I wonder if they power off by themselves after a while or when the paired Mac is shut down?

Thanks

I rarely do it.

It's in-active bluetooth, it uses so less energy I don't take the effort.

Keyboard, no. I've used the Apple wireless keyboard for a while, and am pretty happy with the battery life. I use my basic dell mouse with my iMac now, but occasionally use the magic mouse. When I used to use the Magic Mouse, I would most often turn it off when I walk away. So easy to turn on/off the Magic Mouse I don't see it as a "hassle".

I use the Apple wireless keyboard with my iPod touch. And I switch it off every time I leave it because I use it so infrequently.
