Do you take the IPP off the MK When using in Bed? Safe to use MK as a dock and leave it open?

Hi

When using the IPP in bed, do you take it off the MK when not doing a lot of typing? Also, is it ok to use the MK as an iPad dock and just leave it open. If so, how to handle dust getting on the open keyboard?

I also have the smart folio that I could use, but that is harder to get on and off.

Heavy typing would be about 15% of the time.

I take mine off in bed every night and put it on a stand I got from Amazon to watch movies or read books. I keep the magic keyboard in my office generally open as a dock, didn’t even think about the dust part. Might need to reconsider.

That’s how I do it, I have a skin on the back from Dbrand to protect it from scratches. Super convenient just to be able to detach it from the MK and use it as an iPad when the keyboard isn’t needed because of the magnets IMO
