Landscape is easier for me. But I always have the rotation lock on so I never use it. I normal use two hands but Just noticed one hand is easier/quicker than I thought

Never.

The moment I got my hands on that 4s, one of the first things i did was turn off auto-rotate.

Same I just had having to turn it off for full screen YouTube videos

I used to use one hand, in portrait mode, to tx message Nicki.
Now I use one hand in portrait mode to hold the home button for 2 secs, then tell Siri, "Message Nicki" :)

I text with two thumbs. Much easier than holding it with one hand and typing with the index finger of the other hand (what my mom does :p).
Very rarely on landscape. Incidentally, I just bought SBRotator 5 and it was really really buggy. Messed up my SB and how I had the icons setup using springtomize.

I do both, depends on how long the conversation will be. Landscape for longer ones, portrait for shorter ones. I would have to say I prob go portrait more than landscape.

I text portrait. I use landscape when I've got ALOT to say. 30% of the time Landscape.

I text in portrait about 99% of the time and I text with both hands, unless I'm carrying something in my other hand. i.e. a drink.

I never type text in landscape. In fact, before I saw this thread, I forgot that you could.

I never type with one hand unless my other hand is holding something else. Most of the time I type with two thumbs, but for really short texts I'll use an index finger.

As small as the 3.5 inch screen is, I hate typing in landscape. My thumbs seem to always miss the space bar.

Auto rotate turned off, portrait for everything!

As weird as it sounds, but I'm not really sure if I text with one or two hands.. Maybe 50/50? :S

But I always have potrait orientation locked for everything :)

Two thumbs. Always portrait.

Usually Portrait unless I have a lot to say. Sometimes I use one hand, especially if my other is holding something. The rest of the time I use two. Plus with the advent of Zephyr, I have been toggling rotate lock like a fiend.
