Were OS 3.0 not going to be released on Monday, there would already be a new beta. So yeah, I think we will see it released on Monday, even if not all features will be present.

It wasn't released at WWDC last year, so I doubt it will this year.

Apple didn't release 2.0 at WWDC last year, so I think they'll do the same this year. It'll probably come out a day before the new iPhone is released.

Things are getting really weird.. Apple hasnt been known to release a software just after the final preview but it also hasnt been known to release the supporting updates a week before the preview! Lets wait and see what happens..

I really want it to be out on monday, but I don't think it will. I think WWDC will be a bust, they will blab about the app store, detail snow leopard, give us a vague fall 2009 launch, and wait to announce the new iphone and 3.0's date at a special stevenote at the end of june.

Unless the phone is released the same day then yes. . . Most likely No.

You have to give people (New Buyers) something "exclusive" when they buy it. If they friends already have the features why should they buy it afterwards.

I could see them sending out the update before the pone itself.. It will make people think twice about leaving to go to another carrier or they could look at it as something that they think they have to get out there ASAP because all these feature we are getting have been around on phone's that have been out for 5+ years...
