If it's been announced, I haven't heard it yet.

You know how they offer pricing starting at $199 for new customers and eligible upgrades? I wonder if early iPhone 4 buyers will have that same price point? What do you think?

There have been many threads about this already.

Upgrade dates usually don't get moved until after the phone is announced. It's happened this way in the past and i'm not expecting anything different this time.

Well I bought my iPhone 4 the day it was released. A year later, I was eligible to upgrade. So yes, for me, I'm getting discounted pricing for the iPhone 5.

That's usually because your number is the main line and your bill is over 100 bucks. AT&T does that for its long time customers. If none of the above are true, you may want to call AT&T to confirm you're eligible.

Well, even if they don't move up the date, I'm eligible for an upgrade in late November (bought iPhone 4 preorder), so I would probably wait till then anyway.

Upgrades depend on the amount spent on your plan.

The only reason ATT was so generous with upgrades last year was because they knew that Verizon was getting the phone and wanted everyone locked in.

Yes ATT is still doing it, I know because my upgrade eligibility has been moved up :D

iPhone 5 here I come!
