My logic board on my late 2008 MBP failed in August with stock 1GB and my own 2GB, both of which had been paired for 2.5 years. I got it repaired and added in a 4GB module to go with the 2GB. My logic board failed again in November. I just got my computer back from the Apple depot and noticed they replaced both of my 3rd party RAM modules with 2 1GB modules. I added the 2GB and 4GB modules back in and before I did anything, I ran a full memory test with the memtest console app. Came back with no issues.

Obviously I am weary to use these RAM modules, but the console test came back fine. Do you think my RAM is bad, or can I use it?

Bumping this only because I need an answer. Ran another test, took 2 hours. Everything was "ok". Test was run on COMMAND + S console mode. Used memtest.
